Ticket fare

2. Tickets for the same train on the same date can be purchased at the same price at any time. Purchasing tickets in advance cannot reduce the required costs, and you do not need to book tickets too early to avoid frequent changes to the itinerary and additional transaction fees.

3. Floating fares do not affect the use of time tickets and time tickets, as long as the corresponding departure stations and arrival stations meet the requirements.

4. Please pay attention to the direction of the train, because there may be many routes between the same starting point and the end point, and their prices may vary greatly. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to the circular trains, which are charged according to the distance taken instead of the distance of the station.

Transfer of different trains

If there is no direct train from the station near your departure to the station near your destination, you can choose to transfer and divide the journey into multiple segments. Special attention should be paid to whether there is enough time to consider for continuous transfer. If the time is not enough, the risk will be borne by the passengers themselves, especially when the transfer is not at the same station, the traffic conditions between stations need to be considered.If you continue to transfer at the same station and miss the subsequent train due to the delay of the current serial train, you can seek help from the staff of the former serial train and issue a delay certificate. If there are other optional trains in the subsequent trip, you can choose other trains or terminate the trip, and the ticket can be refunded for the subsequent trip. If there are no other trains to take in the future, you can terminate the trip and refund the ticket, or try to further split the subsequent trip.

Segmented ticket purchase

If there is a direct train from the station near your departure place to the station near your destination, but tickets cannot be purchased, and not all passengers may take the whole journey, you can try to split the journey and purchase tickets for different sections of the same train respectively. Change the travel time after purchasing tickets

Tickets can be purchased several days in advance, but there is only one chance to rebook the ticket, and if you need to continue to rebook the ticket, you need to refund the ticket and buy a new one. Currently, only passengers travelling between West Kowloon in Hong Kong and Futian in Shenzhen are allowed to rebook the tickets multiple times if they meet the conditions, while other passengers can rebook their tickets only once. In some cases, a fee will be charged for rebooking the ticket.

When rebook the ticket more than 48 hours before departure, you can rebook it for free to any train with tickets available.

When rebook within 48 hours before departure, you can rebook your ticket to the train before 24:00 on departure date of travel for free; If rebook onto the train departing after the original departure date, 5% of the ticket price of the lower fare before and after the change will be charged as a handling fee.

When rebook within 24 hours before departure, you can only rebook your ticket onto the train before 24:00 on the date of travel for free; If rebook onto the train departing after the original departure date, 15% of the ticket price of the lower fare before and after the change will be charged as a handling fee.

If the passenger is unable to catch the train due to personal reasons, a free rebook opportunity still provide to rebook onto a train departing before 24:00 on the same day, provided that there are remaining tickets for the subsequent train; If rebook onto the date after the original departure date, 40% of the ticket price of the lower fare before and after the change will be charged as a handling fee; If not rebook before 24:00 on the departure day, the ticket will be invalid. It should be noted that tickets have rebooked after original departure time would not be refundable.

If your train is cancelled or delayed for a long time due to unexpected circumstances, you can refund your ticket free of charge or rebook onto another train. If the rescheduled ticket price is higher than the original ticket price, the excess will not be recharged; If the price is lower than the original fare, the difference in fare shall be refunded without refund fee.

When rebooking a ticket, if the new ticket price is lower than the original ticket, the difference shall be refunded, and the refund fee shall be collected for the difference, and the current refund fee standard shall be implemented. When rebook after departure when miss the train, while the difference in ticket price arising from the rebook, the refund fee shall be charged according to the standard of less than 24 hours before departure.

Modify the destination after purchasing tickets

The destination cannot be modified 24 hours before the departure time shown on the train ticket. If the distance from the driving time is more than 24 hours, if the modified destination is still in the stop of the original train, when the actual station is at the station marked by the purchased ticket, the ticket for the next journey of the same train can be purchased again, provided that there are spare seats for the subsequent journey, and the same seats may not be used for the later journey, and the position may need to be changed. When the actual station is located before the ticket station or not in the original train route station, the destination needs to be modified. When the modified fare is lower than the original fare, a handling fee of 5-20% of the difference needs to be charged. If the modified fare is higher than the original fare, the new fare needs to be paid in full again, and the original fare needs to be returned after paying the new fare.

Trip Cancellation

If the travel plan is cancelled, a ticket refund needs to be processed before the train departs. When refunding, a handling fee of 5% -20% of the ticket price will be charged based on the remaining time length from the train departure time. The ticket cannot to be refund after the train departing.

No refund fee will be charged if the ticket is returned more than 8 days (inclusive) before departure. If the ticket is refunded within 8 days but more than 48 hours before the departure time, the refund fee will be charged at 5% of the ticket price.  It will be calculated at 10% of the ticket price when more than 24 hours and less than 48 hours, and it will be calculated at 20% of the ticket price when refund less than 24 hours.

If a ticket is rebooked onto a train more than 8 days before departure, and then refunded rebooked ticket, but it still more than 8 days before departure, a 5% refund fee will be charged. If refund within 8 days, the normal refund fee will be charged.

If the ticket price of the new ticket is lower than the original ticket when the ticket is changed or "changed to the station", the difference shall be refunded, and the refund fee shall be collected for the difference and the current refund fee standard shall be implemented.
